The Opolis has been a staple in downtown Norman’s music and creative scenes for over 20 years. We are a worker owned cooperative of musicians and artists that host music, educational, and experimental events alongside our small but mighty vegan kitchen. We are actively in the process of strengthening Opolis’ position in the community by improving our operations and expanding the venue’s influence through promoting local talent to a wider audience. We are actively seeing growth in our attendance and excited to begin providing more opportunities to younger and experienced musicians alike who share our passion for live performance and music.

We are a music house providing a home stage for prominent local artists on the rise in the Oklahoma metro and the region. This strengthens our relationship with our artists and promotes their success through direct funding. The goal of this sponsorship is to maintain future residencies for musicians who live and work in the area.

We receive booking requests daily and the music industry has changed significantly in the last few years. More artists are looking for larger guarantees to support their tours, music production, and beyond. We are actively looking for ways to be able to make an ecosystem for local, touring, and experimental programming that thrives in downtown Norman Oklahoma.
