The Opolis has been Norman, Oklahoma’s staple micro venue and vegan food restaurant located in the heart of downtown for 20 years.

In February 2023, the venue transitioned into a worker owned cooperative. Each member of the co-op has lived and worked in downtown Norman for the last decade and the Opolis is where most of us got our start in musical performance. The previous owners Andy and Marian built a legacy for providing a unique creative space for all types of events and we are carrying that legacy into the future. We have live music every weekend with more casual dining events throughout the week.

Where can we buy tickets for shows?

We use Eventbrite for our online ticketing platform. Entry for ticketed shows can also be paid for at the door.

What are your hours?

We are open Wednesday through Saturday starting at 4PM. We have happy hour from 4PM to 7PM and our vegan kitchen is open until 9PM.

Who is allowed in? Are you all ages?

We are an all ages venue, however in order for us to remain so, we require everyone attending our events to show ID at the door and receive a wristband that indicates you are 21+ or under 21.

All under 21 attendees must order food and soft drinks at the under 21 counter. Only 21+ attendees can drink alcohol and allowed at the bar. This helps us to preserve our all ages status and ensures everyone has a great time!

Where can we park?

There is street parking available out front of the venue and two parking lots. One is located on Crawford and Gray directly in front of the venue and the other lot is directly behind our building.

What is the band load in procedure?

Bands are encouraged to load gear in the back of the building. We keep parking spaces available for bands to park directly behind our patio. The first band can load in onto the stage. We are limited on space so we encourage following bands to keep their gear in their vehicles until the first band has started breaking down off stage.

Can we smoke and vape inside?

Smoking is allowed on our back patio. Vaping is encouraged outside as well.
